About the role
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine examinations and procedures to support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. Requirements
- Completion of 12-week departmental specific training required
- Education
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university and completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program required
- Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board required; OR
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Nuclear Medicine ARRT (N) Certification and registration required
- Texas Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) license required.
- Basic Life Saver (BLS) Certification required
