Senior Executive, Parts : Technical & Material Master Support

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on the suitability of engine parts and tools to meet customer's requirements.
• Creation and maintenance of Material Master, Parts Supersession Chain, BOM and other relevant system data.
• Build up databases for efficient part verifications and expert knowledge.
• Assess and provide recommendation on parts' quality issues.
• Assist customers in building the parts lists for overhaul/ maintenance of their engines and the stocking of parts.
• Recommend items to be inventoried based on technical information, campaigns and market requirements.
• Involve in project teams handling parts proposals, life cycle costing and integrated logistics support.
• Review relevant KPIs regularly and takes corrective actions if necessary.
• Special assignment from time to time.
• Position requirements:
• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical / Marine Engineering.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and experience working in an engine related industry /business.
• Experience in interpreting engineering drawings and parts cataloguing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
