About ACE Aster Chemicals and Energy is a leading provider of chemical and energy solutions. Building on the foundation of Singapore's first oil refinery, the business plays a critical role in supporting supply, commercial performance, and operational capabilities for Singapore and Southeast Asia. Aster has a refinery with capacity of more than 300,000 barrels per day with ongoing asset rejuvenation, alongside a 1.1 million metric ton naphtha cracker on Pulau Bukom, and 2.5 million metric tons of downstream chemical assets on Jurong Island. Job Description: The primary role will focus on improving and standardizing Aster's maintenance and turnaround planning practices. Provide planning support for various plant unit maintenance activities in Aster, including delivering training and coaching for new personnel in the role. Collaborate with discipline engineers to review existing work plans and continuously enhance them to improve efficiency and enable more productive site execution. Job responsibilities: Ensure full compliance to site Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) standards, procedures, and requirement to achieve Goal Zero and make a safe place to work. Intervene any unsafe act proactively and courageously on site and take part in creating healthy environment for people to work safely. Maintenance and Turnaround Planning: Drive high standard of personal accountability & performance to deliver the Site & Department goals and target. Contribute and participate actively in site reliability improvements Provide feedback on the effectiveness of preventive maintenance generated from site processes. Identify waste elimination and LEAN maintenance opportunities for maintenance and work with relevant key stakeholders to implement gap closure plans. Use SAP Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in compliance with the Company maintenance and business processes. Lead initiatives to enhance and standardize maintenance and turnaround planning practices in Aster. Support site Maintenance planning activities including Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance activities, shutdown and pitstop planning. Support site Turnaround planning activities. Carry out any other related duties as and when required. Job requirement: Diploma/University Degree in Engineering with 3 to 8 years' experience in the Petrochemical industry. Experience in maintenance and turnaround execution (TA) and the detailed work scope required in various maintenance activities including a sound understanding of Maintenance and Turnaround processes. Working knowledge of SAP CMM will be desirable. Experience and understanding on the various Maintenance/Turnaround contracts and contractor to be able to plan various activities accordingly. Ability to build effective working relationships across various department, PUs and with various contractor on site. Strong communication and written skills.
