Job Type: Temporary (Fixed Term) Plains is an industry-leading transportation and midstream provider specializing in transportation, storage, processing and marketing solutions for crude oil. We own an extensive network of pipeline transportation, terminalling, storage and gathering assets in key oil producing basins and transportation corridors and at major market hubs in the United States and Canada. This is a 6-month contract position engaged through a third-party agency. The role requires working in the office four days per week with remote flexibility on Fridays. Company-paid parking is provided. The Contract Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. This role will work closely with all levels of management and subject matter experts in a fast-paced, ever-growing organization. This career opportunity will work with senior level leadership, our human resources team and a variety of internal and external candidates across the United States and Canada. Job Responsibilities: Full-cycle Recruiting: Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process for both professional and early talent positions. Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Posts and sources candidates utilizing internal careers page and external job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, etc). Maintains candidate pipeline and the Applicant Tracking System (Workday). Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Coordinates the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders. Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other Human Resources staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details. Extends offers, both verbally and in writing. Other duties as assigned. Conducts Needs Analysis (Intakes): Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Represents Talent Acquisition strategy to support a great candidate experience and employee on-boarding experience within recruiting metrics. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources or related field, and a minimum of 3 years' experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process. Demonstrated success in recruiting top-tier talent across a broad range of skill sets within a corporate environment. Excellent verbal, and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. Demonstrated ability to create and implement sourcing strategies in developing talent pools and recruitment for a variety of opportunities. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. Excellent time management skills with strong customer service disposition. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment. Previous enterprise Applicant Tracking System (ATS) background and experience. Ability to create and manage reports within Excel and ATS (Workday preferred). Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks Compliance with the Company's drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testing.
