- The Ideal Previous Work Experience
- Hold a valid Veterinary Technician License (RVT, LVT)
- You have a minimum of 1+ years experience in clinic and love all things wellness, medicine, surgery and dentistry
- Your Skills
- General knowledge of GP practices (vaccine schedules, common medication uses, preventative medicine, nutrition)
- Experience in anesthesia - from using a multiparameter to recalling what medications are in your arsenal to create a safe and prepared environment
- Dentistry - general knowledge of how to scale and polish. Bonus points for being able to chart and perform oral nerve blocks! Knowledge of xray positioning and how to troubleshoot
- Starting to build a strong foundation of technical skills - from wrangling spicy cats to being able to use your vampire skills for blood draws
- Communicate with empathy and act with integrity
- Willingness to grow and adapt; an inclination to embrace change and work
