About the role
The successful candidate will manage an analytics and reporting team that will be developing and successfully building out new data and analytical capabilities within Group Retirement Services (GRS). The mandate of the Manager -Reporting Analytics will focus on leading the evolution of key performance metrics for GRS clients, business intelligence, and client insights. What will you do? Comply fully with all privacy, confidentiality, do not contact, SLF Code of Business Conduct, data security, SLF End User Computing and other requirements related to customer data What will you need to succeed? 3+ years experience leading an analytical team 5+ years experience in a Data Analyst or Performance Analyst role 5+ years experience with AWS, Python or SQL 5+ years' experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and VBA Undergraduate degree is preferred or equivalent work experience in a related field Preferred Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate complex results to a business audience Proven ability to work collaboratively, with frequent contact with people at all levels of the SLF Canada organization Experience in life insurance/wealth management, or other financial services industry (e.g., retail banking, credit card, property, and casualty insurance) is an asset
