Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Laundry Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, engaging and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues to ensure an exceptional guest experience Ensure laundry service required by our Guests is completed on time Ensure all items for dry cleaning are correctly marked Check and test garments for color fastening Check for any damage on received laundry prior to dry cleaning process Refill chemicals, clean filters and service the machines as needed Operate dry cleaning machine and ensure a high standard of dry cleaning Load and unload dry cleaning machines with correct load amount Press all garments on steam press using shirt units as required Wash, dry clean and press Colleagues uniforms Change padding on steam pressing machines as needed and assist other laundry Colleagues with the dry cleaning process Ensure the entire work area remains clean and neatly organized Follow and ensure compliance with all corporate and hotel policies and procedures Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment Strict adherence to all Health & Safety training, guidelines and work practices previous, during and following an epidemic (whether local or global) that are established by Accor, local government, international bodies including the World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for disease control (CDC). Perform any other duties, tasks, and assignments within your department as required.
