About the role
Job Description Proactively identify and engage potential customers through cold calling, outbound sales activities, referrals, and other business development initiatives to expand the company's customer base. Handle sales enquiries received through various communication channels, including WhatsApp, telephone calls, emails, and online platforms, ensuring timely and professional responses. Understand customers' service requirements and recommend suitable company services based on their needs. Monitor the progress of scheduled jobs and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure services are delivered according to customer expectations. Communicate effectively with customers regarding appointment confirmations, schedule changes, service updates, and project progress. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing responsive after-sales support and addressing enquiries or concerns promptly. Assist in resolving customer issues by coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely and satisfactory outcomes. Prepare sales-related reports, quotation summaries, sales pipeline updates, and other administrative documentation as required. Maintain proper filing and documentation of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and customer correspondence. Ensure all customer information, quotations, and sales records are updated accurately in the company's systems. Support the Sales and Operations teams in achieving departmental objectives and continuous process improvements. Participate in sales meetings, operational discussions, and internal coordination meetings where required. Perform any other sales coordination, administrative, or operational duties assigned by Management from time to time. Job Requirements Diploma, Higher Nitec, Nitec, or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or other relevant disciplines. Relevant working experience in Sales Coordination, Sales Support, Customer Service, Business Development, Inside Sales, or Sales Executive roles is preferred. Experience in the Construction, Handyman Services, Building Maintenance, Facilities Management, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), Renovation, Property Maintenance, or related service industries will be an advantage. Experience in preparing quotations, processing sales orders, coordinating service schedules, and handling customer enquiries in a service-oriented environment is preferred. Comfortable handling outbound sales activities, including cold calling, follow-up calls, and customer relationship management. Able to understand customers' requirements and communicate effectively with both customers and internal operational teams. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries, quotations, and service schedules simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience using CRM systems, ERP systems, scheduling software, or service management platforms will be an added advantage. Able to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively within a team environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare accurate quotations and documentation. Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Able to adapt to changing operational priorities and work in a fast-paced service environment. Willing to learn company products, services, pricing structures, and operational procedures. May be required to attend customer discussions, operational meetings, or provide support beyond normal office hours where operational requirements necessitate.
