Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain monthly finance, property, investment, and management reports to provide accurate financial insights.
  • Report on profit and loss, balance sheet items, shareholder accounts, capital movements, cashflow, budgets, expenses, and asset positions to support management decisions.
  • Assist with entity-level and consolidated reporting, including preparing reconciliations, supporting schedules, and management reporting files for comprehensive financial oversight.

  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, e-wallets, petty cash, and other cash-related records to maintain financial accuracy.

  • Support property management reporting by tracking property income and expenses, payment schedules, ownership or title document status, insurance records, service provider updates, and pending follow-up matters.
  • Coordinate with overseas finance and property teams on finance records, property documentation, payment follow-up, bank matters, adviser updates, and management reporting requirements to ensure alignment and accuracy.
  • Follow up on property agreements, title documents, ownership records, payment records, insurance records, adviser updates, and other supporting documents to ensure completeness and proper documentation.
  • Track and update document status, pending matters, and completion timelines for management review to facilitate timely decision-making.
  • Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax agents, corporate service providers, consultants, property agents, property management teams, and other external parties to support financial and property operations.
  • Maintain proper records, filing structure, approval trails, and supporting documents for management review and audit purposes.
  • Assist in improving finance workflows, reporting processes, approval routes, and document management procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare SOPs, checklists, trackers, meeting notes, timelines, and follow-up reports to support process standardisation and accountability.
  • Support ad hoc finance, banking, property management, reporting, or documentation matters assigned by management.
  • Required Competencies and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in finance reporting, accounting operations, property accounting or documentation, bank reconciliation, external party coordination, property management reporting, or multi-entity reporting.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, reconciliation schedules, and reporting templates.
  • Good understanding of accounting, bank reconciliation, financial reporting, property-related records, asset tracking, and document control.
  • Ability to manage multiple reports, documents, deadlines, and follow-up matters independently.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to review finance, property, investment, and management documents in English.
  • Preferred Competencies and Qualifications
  • Experience in family office, investment holding companies, real estate investment, property management, fund administration, or multi-entity group reporting.
  • Ability to review Chinese-language supporting documents will be useful, as some supporting records may be in Chinese.
  • Experience preparing management reports, consolidated schedules, asset trackers, payment schedules, SOPs, audit files, or reporting support documents will be useful.
  • Knowledge of VBA, Power Query, Python, accounting systems, or reporting automation tools will be useful.
  • Experience supporting overseas property-related reporting, property management records, asset tracking, document follow-up, or external adviser coordination will be useful.
  • Experience coordinating with overseas teams on finance, property, banking, documentation, or reporting matters will be useful.
