We are looking for a Operations DevOps Engineer II who will: Supporting code deployment releases and promotions within test and production environments Perform product installation and configuration with some troubleshooting assistance from others in ARM Operations Incident management including the investigation, and triage of various software application and database issues, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure fast turnaround times on issue/incident resolution Monitor Ascendon ARM solutions production, customer test and internal environments for function and performance Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime. Maintain monitoring tools and systems to proactively identify and address potential issues. Install, configure and upgrade third party products and open source solutions Participate in and contribute at daily stand-up meetings Execution and validation of deployment installation, configuration, release processes and procedures Develop and maintain automation tools and processes to streamline operations and improve productivity Document operational and system architecture process and configuration and identify automation opportunities where applicable Participating in the ARM Operations 24x7 on-call rotation schedule When needed, active participation in critical problem resolution outside of typical working hours An employee may perform duties outside of the listed responsibilities as needed CLT contract model Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have: Experience configuring, managing and upgrading servers and software Experience with RDS database applications (eg. Oracle, MySQL) and administration Able to recognize and independently resolve issues Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Proven collaboration skills, including written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work independently and/or collaborate with internal teams with minimal assistance to solve problems Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (Electrical, Software, or Telecommunications) or a related field. Minimum 2 -3 years of experience with development and release processes AWS certification is preferred but not required
