Additional Information
Working under the direction of the Training support supervisor, the incumbent will serve as an individual contributor and advocate for Susquehanna Nuclear LLC's performance improvement programs in the Training Department. This position will also serve as the Training Department's Training Coordinator. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1. Acts as the responsibility centers' point of contact for the Corrective Action Program (CAP) issues and implementation. This includes: - Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the CAP process. - Monitor the timely processing of condition reports, corrective actions, action reports, department actions and observations within their work group(s). - Monitors CAP and Non-CAP indicators/metrics to provide timely and accurate reporting on work group CAP, Non-CAP, and Observation Status. - Reviews all CR's originated by the RC for technical adequacy and correctness to facilitate classification and assignment by Screening. - Performs administrative review of evaluations and responses to Corrective Actions for quality and adequacy. - Facilitates acceptance of CR Action items from other work groups. - Communicates changes to the CAP to ensure awareness and understanding by their associated responsibility center personnel. - Attaining/maintaining qualification and serving as the Training department representative member of the Station Screening Team. - Performing condition report evaluations and facilitate Quality Review Team(s) for review of CAP and Non-CAP products. 2. Acts as the responsibility centers' point of contact for the Performance Improvement Program (PIC) issues and implementation. This includes: - Analyze functional unit performance data and develop preliminary actions needed to close identified gaps to excellence. - Maintain and keep updated all training indicators such as the department's Plan for Excellence. - Develop and maintain Focused and Formal Benchmarking Self-Assessment plans for the associated work group. - Performing periodic self-assessments and benchmarking. - Creating and maintaining performance indicators related to assign performance improvement programs. 3. Act as the Training department's training coordinator making sure personnel are fully qualified and ensuring the timely completion of all accredited and non-accredited training. This includes, but is not limited to: - Schedule /coordinate training to meet the applicable initial and continuing training needs. - Maintain Training qualification matrices (TMX) for Training including ensuring removal and restoration of qualifications for training personnel. - Serve as interface with the Training department including support/ facilitation of Training Partnership meetings and Training Advisory Committee meetings. - Monitor and track Training successes for the department. - Attaining/maintaining qualification and serving as a Lead Admin NANTEL/CBT proctor. 4. Acting as the work group's OE Coordinator and/or HuP Advocate if assigned. 5. Assists in the collection of data as required to support accreditation. 6. Works effectively in a team environment, both as a team leader and as a team member. 7. Understands and practices company safety and industrial hygiene policies; and has awareness of safety rules and environmental hazards with ability to take appropriate action to ensure safety for personnel, the public and environment. 8.
