Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years' experience in managing energization processes in large-scale projects, ideally in the oil and gas or petrochemical sectors.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the role of Lead Engineer (design) of large-scale project in oil & gas sector.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical systems design, procurement engineering of Electrical equipment, and site testing methods.
• Understanding of complete project schedule, energization requirement and procedure
• Demonstrated experience in leading and coordinating electrical equipment testing activities.
• Familiarity with protection devices.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.
• Outstanding communication skills for working with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients.
• Project management skills, with the capability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Proficient in MS Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and comparable computer programs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Conduct workshops and oversee the implementation of energization strategies. Reevaluate the schedule and options for each function to meet client prerequisites based on the remaining timeline. Assess equipment FAT/delivery status and track licensing preparation progress. Preparation of Energization procedure, define SAT/energization management objectives. Develop an equipment list for monitoring construction progress of key devices (SWGR/MCC/TR/Busduct, etc.). Establish and operate the EPS system (Energization Progress Management System). Compile a list of managed electrical equipment. Define and enter the level of construction item management. Formulate an energization team considering factors such as: The energization manager will prepare a dispatch schedule for the Vendor Technical Advisor by referring to the schedule and plan of the testing specialist company, and request supervision through the procurement team one month prior to SAT commencement. Devise a strategy for conducting SAT. Manage SAT schedule/manpower utilization/test equipment operation, etc. Review/adapt test items from the standard SAT list according to project traits, and specify test subjects (R&R) considering the capabilities of the testing specialist company and regional features. Confirm SAT procedures, including equipment-specific ones. Manage SAT with emphasis on functional testing. Assemble necessary engineering documents (drawings, vendor prints, FAT reports) for energization. Manage punch status related to energization. Collaborate with the project management team to achieve project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Work jointly with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers and operations teams. Participate in vendor/subcontractor meetings. Education A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Relevant certifications in Electrical Engineering, Electric Apparatus or Electric Work are preferred.
