Here are the main responsibilities: Lead and oversee the sector's actuarial processes, projects, and reporting activities, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality financial results, projections, and analyses. Achieve business objectives by coaching, mentoring, and supporting team members in their professional development while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Perform actuarial analyses and produce financial statements for the Dealer Services division's Life & Health and Property & Casualty products, while monitoring financial results against budget and communicating key insights to management. Develop financial projections, contribute to pricing activities, and produce key performance and profitability reports, including monthly sales reporting, annual pricing analyses, and quarterly value of new business reporting. Contribute to the production of strategic and regulatory deliverables, including ORSA and FCT reports, year-end reporting requirements, and reports for regulatory bodies such as the AMF and the CCIR, while supporting ongoing transformation initiatives and process enhancements within the division. ______________________________________________________________________________ What could accelerate your success in this role We're looking for someone who: Is known for their mobilizing leadership style and ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams to achieve ambitious objectives. Stands out for their strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills when dealing with complex actuarial and financial topics. Demonstrates strong technical expertise in actuarial analysis, financial reporting, and forecasting, including knowledge of IFRS 17 GMM and insurance products. Is recognized for their rigor, attention to detail, sound judgment, ability to identify issues, make informed decisions, influence stakeholders, and effectively manage priorities in a results-oriented environment. Has 7+ years of relevant actuarial experience, supported by a bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or a related field; Fellowship of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) is considered a strong asset.
