About the role

As a senior leader within the Financial Control team, you will oversee critical reporting processes while partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver technical accounting expertise and strong governance outcomes. Requirements

  • You are a technically strong and commercially minded accounting leader who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. You bring a passion for people leadership and the ability to influence stakeholders while navigating complex accounting challenges.
  • Key requirements:
  • CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience
  • Strong technical accounting expertise within the insurance sector
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and consolidations
  • Deep knowledge of AASB 17 and AASB 16
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
