About the role

This vacancy announcement may be used to fill positions at various Department of the Navy Commands, including but not limited to Fleet Forces Command, Naval Sea Systems Command, and PACFLEET. GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: professional engineering experience researching, interpreting, and carrying out engineering assignments; providing technical input on the planning, design, construction, testing, or maintenance of projects; and collecting and analyzing engineering data to solve problems, develop reports, and provide recommendations. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: professional engineering experience understanding, demonstrating and completing limited engineering or architectural designs and projects; carrying out, interpreting, and explaining basic computations and calculations; and reading, understanding, manipulating, analyzing, interpreting, and conveying findings.
