Responsibilities

- Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) and 8 years of related civil engineering design experience , including civil site design, project engineering, construction phase support/oversight or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Expereince in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar).
- Experience in grading, drainage, stormwater management, and site design principles .
- Current holder of, or have no restrictions to obtain, Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Preferred:
- Experience with large-scale industrial or logistics facilities .
- Background in construction management or contractor coordination .
- Experience working with federal, state, or port authorities.
- Demonstrated experience with port, marine, or waterfront infrastructure projects .
- Proven experience coordinating with environmental planning and permitting processes .
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (e.g., AASHTO, ASCE, local/state regulations, coastal engineering guidelines).
- Experience with marine structural coordination (e.g., pile-supported systems, quay walls).
- Knowledge of resiliency design for coastal environments (e.g., flood protection, sea level rise considerations).
- Occasional travel to project sites and client locations
