Plumber Apprentice

Requirements

• Experience with equipment installation
• Previous experience working in the construction industry
• Hoisting & Rigging skills is an asset
• Must be able to work independently
• Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures
• Proactive in ensuring job knowledge is current
• Current WHMIS, Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers Certificate and Working at Heights training is required.
• Ability to travel with NAC to various projects in Canada, may provide long term employment opportunities

Position Summary Under the direction of the Mechanical Superintendent you will be responsible to assist with the laying out, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing of piping systems. This position requires knowledge of the heavy construction industry. Specifically the practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control and safety associated with this industry. NAC is currently seeking a Plumber Apprentice to join our Water Pollution Control Plant project in Kemptville, ON.
