- Contribute to the transition from top-level to item-level HS codes by supporting process design, documentation, and implementation.
- Ensure ERP master data enables compliant customs declarations and logistics flows.
- Regulatory Documentation & Audit Readiness
- Coordinate the collection, validation, and maintenance of supplier compliance documentation, including trade-related regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and auditable records to support internal reviews, audits, and customs inquiries.
- Ensure master data and documentation are readily available and aligned with regulatory and business needs.
- Supplier & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a key point of contact for suppliers regarding master data and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with sourcing, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, finance, and compliance teams to resolve master data issues.
- Support suppliers through structured communication, guidance, and training to improve data quality and response times.
- Collaborate with global and local teams to ensure alignment with standards, regulations, and business processes.
- Process Improvement & Continuous Development
- Identify weaknesses, inefficiencies, and risks in master data and compliance processes.
- Proactively propose and drive improvements related to accuracy, standardization, efficiency, and compliance.
- Review, update, and develop SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
- Participate in master data-related projects, system enhancements, and process changes.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Use advanced Excel capabilities (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, Power Query, and data validation) to analyze large data sets.
- Develop reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI to monitor data quality, completeness, compliance coverage, and supplier performance.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, International Trade, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Master Data Management, ERP administration, Supply Chain, Trade Compliance, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Infor LN, or similar).
- Experience working in regulated and international environments is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of ERP master data structures and governance principles.
- Solid knowledge of customs and trade compliance concepts, including HS codes and country of origin.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI and data analytics is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill or equivalent) is meritorious.
- Ability to work with databases, large data sets, and system integrations.
