Financial Controller / Head of Finance

Responsibilities

• SGX Compliance & Financial Reporting
• Lead all financial reporting activities in compliance with SGX Catalist requirements and accounting standards.
• Oversee preparation and submission of quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Ensure timely regulatory disclosures and announcements.
• Manage relationships with SGX sponsors, auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee corporate tax compliance, GST matters, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Financial Governance & Risk Management
• Strengthen internal controls, corporate governance, and risk management frameworks.
• Lead internal and external audit processes.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Review key financial contracts and commercial agreements.
• Treasury & Cash Flow Management
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
• Optimize working capital and financial resources.
• Manage banking relationships, financing arrangements, and debt facilities.
• Support funding and capital management initiatives.
• Business Performance & Financial Strategy
• Develop financial KPIs and performance monitoring frameworks.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable business insights.
• Support management with strategic recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Systems & Process Improvement
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, including ERP and process enhancement projects.
• Drive automation and reporting improvements to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
• Strategic Business Partnering
• Partner with the CEO and Board on corporate strategy and business planning.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, restructuring exercises, and expansion initiatives.
• Provide commercial and financial insights to support key business decisions.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of finance leadership experience, including experience in SGX-listed companies.
• Strong knowledge of SGX Catalist regulations, corporate governance, and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience working with SGX sponsors, auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of IFRS/SFRS accounting standards.
• Proven experience in treasury management, financial controls, and risk management.
• Exposure to M&A, corporate restructuring, or strategic finance activities is highly advantageous.
• Must possess prior experience working in an SGX Mainboard and/or Catalist-listed company.
• Strong familiarity with listed company reporting, governance, and compliance obligations.
• No ongoing regulatory, compliance, or professional disciplinary issues.

Additional Information

Financial Controller / Head of Finance Salary: $6,000 - $10,000 + Performance Bonus Location: Golden Mile Tower Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
