Job Description UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank's growth ambition. Job Responsibilities Lead, build and manage teams in supporting cards platform and strategic projects across the UOB franchise Build, manage and implement system capabilities based on understanding of the business functions and in line with the UOB architecture strategy Be responsible for the Cards processor (CardLink-Mainframe) platform and distributed platform teams (Remote commerce, portals, collections, loyalty and digital banking interfaces) Build a culture of collaboration with application development and testing teams to ensure that the requirements and solutions are correctly understood, refined as well as being translated into equivalent deliverables at each stage of execution Inspire and drive the team to be the superior Cards Subject Matter Experts in specializing across cards systems and cultivate wider insights and hands-on delivery capabilities for the cards technology organization Foster an environment of technology excellence and innovation Plan & collaborate across cross-functional domain application teams outside cards technology to manage functional, technical and security related dependencies of the solution Build exceptional peer relationships with key stakeholders and be able to influence key outcomes. Escalate issues that impacts project schedule on timely basis and propose workarounds/resolutions Demonstrate energy and ability to function in an intense & complex environment demonstrating initiative and operating with an ownership attitude to deliver results. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. 15+ years of experience in Cards Technology, with a proven track record delivering large-scale Cards platforms and transformation programmes. 7+ years of leadership experience managing technology teams and delivery portfolios. Strong knowledge of Credit Cards and Payments systems. Hands-on experience with CardLink, VisionPLUS, CardPac, Mainframe technologies (COBOL/CICS), and distributed platforms. Experience leading Cards migration or conversion programmes. Strong stakeholder, vendor, and budget management experience. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple locations. Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Preferred Experience Deep understanding of Cards core processing, including fees, interest, loans, balance transfers, and payment processing. Experience driving regional or global technology initiatives within banking or financial services. Strong appreciation of industry trends, emerging technologies, and modernization strategies within Cards and Payments.
