About the Position: Serves as an Engineering Technician working under the general supervision of the Chief of Engineering Services for the Directorate of Public Works, Carlisle Barracks, PA. Works as a member of a project delivery team in the development of maintenance, repair, alteration, and construction of real property assets on the installation. Performs computer-aided design drafting (CADD) work involved in maintenance and repair projects. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Documenting quality assurance inspections for facility maintenance and construction projects; 2) Conducting site investigation to verify work meets required specifications; and/or 3) Preparing drawings for projects using computer applications. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08). There is no substitution of education for experience.
