Job Title: Social Worker - Assessment - Integrated Front Door Location: Solihull (Hybrid) Pay Rate: £33.30 per hour Job Description: Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Social Worker for its client's Assessment - Integrated Front Door team based in Solihull. What will your responsibilities be? Solihull's integrated Front Door comprises of an EDT team, MASH and 4 x assessment teams. Each team comprises of 6 x social workers, 1 x ASYE, 1 x advanced practitioner and 1 x Team Manager. Teams are on duty 1 week in every four. The team complete assessments under section 17 and Section 47 alongside child impact reports (similar to section 7 reports). Staff are expected to be office based during their duty week and for two days a week when not on duty. We are looking for social workers with experience of duty and assessment work who are passionate and committed to delivering a high quality intervention for children. Due to the semi-rural location, candidates must have a driving licence and access to a car. Flexible hours may be considered, please reach out for a discussion prior to interview. Solihull Integrated Front Door is a settled service and these current vacancies are mainly due to internal promotion opportunities. For over a year, caseloads have averaged 16-20 children. Workers are guaranteed monthly one-to-one supervision, monthly group supervision and bimonthly service development workshops. Agency staff in the service tell us they stay because of; Excellent opportunities for training and development. Manageable caseloads. Approachable managers who have time to offer the support workers need. Solihull being a small LA makes it easier to develop good working relationships with our partner agencies, including police, health and schools. Good working relationships between MASH and Assessment.
