About the role

Fastned is a European fast-charging company building and operating a network of fast-charging stations across Europe. We are on a mission to give freedom to electric drivers and accelerate the transition to electric mobility. Fastned is funded primarily through a retail bond programme, a model that is unique in the European fast-charging space and that has allowed us to build a deep, loyal community of individual investors, particularly in the Netherlands. We are now at an important inflection point: Belgium is a proven growth market for our bonds, with a large and structurally favourable retail investor culture, and we believe the opportunity there is significantly underpenetrated. This role is the key to unlocking it. The Role We are looking for a commercially-driven Bond Sales Manager to be Fastned's first dedicated bond sales representative in Belgium. This is a hands-on sales role with a strong investor focus - the person we hire will be the face of Fastned's bond programme in the Belgian market, responsible for growing our Belgian investor base, converting new prospects into committed investors, and maintaining strong relationships with existing bondholders. This results-oriented position requires someone with a proven sales track record, a solid financial understanding, and the drive to meet ambitious fundraising targets. You are a natural communicator who can make a compelling case for Fastned's bonds to a wide range of investor profiles - with a focus on high-net-worth individuals. This is a fixed-term contract of one year, with strong likelihood of renewal based on performance and business needs. What You Will Do Bond Sales & Investor Outreach You are the primary driver of bond subscriptions in Belgium. You proactively reach out to new and existing investors, especially during Fastned's three annual bond rounds and you also manage a structured outreach pipeline to maximise conversion. Between rounds, you stay in active contact with bondholders to maintain engagement and support retention and reinvestment at maturity. Investor Network Development You proactively expand Fastned's Belgian investor base, drawing on your existing network and identifying new prospects including high-net-worth individuals, personal finance communities, and retail investor groups. You bring new names into the funnel and convert them over time into committed, repeat investors. Market Intelligence & Local Presence You are embedded in the Belgian market and share what you see and hear with the central team. You monitor relevant financial developments - interest rate movements, competing investment products, regulatory changes - and translate these into actionable insights. You attend relevant investor events and financial community gatherings or host them, and you feed local intelligence into marketing and product decisions. Who We Are Looking For Background & Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in a commercial, sales, or client-facing role, ideally within financial services, insurance, or a related sector. A solid financial understanding, whether through formal education (e.g. finance, economics, accounting) or hands-on experience in personal finance advice, consulting, or investment products. A demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline, hit targets, and maintain commercial momentum across longer cycles. Comfortable explaining financial products clearly and confidently to a broad range of investor profiles, from retail investors to HNWIs. Experience working in a regulated or compliance-aware environment is a plus; understanding of the boundaries around investment advice and investor communication is an advantage. Proven ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and stay accountable without day-to-day oversight. Fluent Dutch and English is required; good French skills are a strong asset.
