Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to recipes and standards
• Assist in food prep, portioning, and maintaining stock levels
• Operate smart kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety (SFA compliance)
• Support inclusive teamwork - working alongside and mentoring colleagues with disabilities
• Assist in menu planning, cost control, and daily operations
• Uphold MYMCA's values of service, inclusivity, and excellence

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in a café, restaurant, or catering environment
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen operations
• Able to work in a team and follow standard operating procedures
• Positive attitude, patience, and willingness to learn new technologies
