Quality Engineer (QA/QC & Manufacturing)

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve our Quality Management System (QMS) and quality procedures.
• Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Operate inspection equipment including SmartScope, CMM and other precision measuring instruments.
• Analyse quality data, identify trends and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Investigate quality issues and work closely with production to resolve root causes.
• Prepare inspection reports, Certificates of Conformance (CoC) and quality documentation.
• Support customer audits, supplier quality activities and ISO compliance.
• Train and coach production personnel on quality standards and best practices.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Support production on the shop floor whenever required to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Contribute ideas to improve productivity, quality and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Diploma in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within plastic injection moulding or precision manufacturing.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment such as SmartScope, CMM, calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Good understanding of injection moulding processes and manufacturing quality systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 is essential. Experience with ISO 13485 and/or AS9100 is an advantage.
• Able to read engineering drawings and understand dimensional tolerances.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, hands-on attitude with a willingness to work across both quality and production.
