Job Description Summary Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Manufacturing Engineer serves as the hardware expert and go-to source for technical information related to component repair hardware; this expertise is leveraged to support the shop floor Machinists and Inspectors, as well as Customer Service Managers (on behalf of customers) and even Fleet, Repair, and Design Engineers associated with their respective parts. Job Description Role Overview: Define and control production process including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment. Includes Manufacturing Engineers. Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
