Responsibilities

  • Maintain full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Fixed Assets.

  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, group reporting packs, board papers, and management reports.
  • Support SGX-listed reporting requirements, including quarterly and annual announcements, disclosures, and XBRL filings.
  • Liaise with subsidiaries and business units to ensure timely submission of financial information and reporting schedules.
  • Monitor project costs, accruals, provisions, and cost allocations to projects and cost centres.
  • Support progress billings, revenue recognition, contract accounting, and project profitability analysis.
  • Review supplier invoices, subcontractor claims, and project-related expenditures.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries on audit, tax, and statutory matters.
  • Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and working papers for internal and external audits.
  • Assist in GST reporting, corporate tax compliance, and statutory submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, SGX regulations, internal controls, and Group policies.
  • Drive process improvements, standardisation, and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
  • Support implementation of new accounting standards, ERP systems, and finance transformation projects.
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready records.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline. Professional qualifications (CA, ACCA, CPA) will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3-6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction, project-based, or listed company environments.
  • Hands-on experience in Group Consolidation, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting is required.
  • Knowledge of SFRS(I)/IFRS, GST, corporate tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with SGX Listing Rules, regulatory disclosures, and XBRL reporting is an advantage.
  • Experience with ERP and consolidation systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
