Evaluates, negotiates and manages new strategic business partnerships. Incorporates Acxiom's business and/or product requirements into successful partnering engagements, from planning through selection, negotiation, and implementation. Defines vision, strategies, and tactics. Develops domain expertise and key external relationships, and exercises thought leadership. Coordinates across the Acxiom organization to involve critical functions in partnerships and to resolve internal conflict in order to accomplish partnership goals. JOB ROLE SUMMARY Evaluates, negotiates and manages new strategic business partnerships. Incorporates Acxiom's business and/or product requirements into successful partnering engagements, from planning through selection, negotiation, and implementation. Defines vision, strategies, and tactics. Develops domain expertise and key external relationships, and exercises thought leadership. Coordinates across the Acxiom organization to involve critical functions in partnerships and to resolve internal conflict in order to accomplish partnership goals. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Fully functional and self-directed Provides formal mentorship High complexity assignments- owner Moderate complexity assignments - owner (1 or >) Low complexity assignments - provide oversight/review Regularly lead self and others and/or established as Product SME and/or established as specialist Sees the whole picture and adjusts work accordingly Gather and manage internal and external data on partners using initiative and creativity to identify sources and draw inferences from the data Build and manage a network of internal and external relationships related to data-gathering responsibilities, ensuring participation and compliance with partnering processes while gaining cooperation and support Develop proposals, contracts, partnership plans, and partnership updates as needed, working independently with internal counsel and business stakeholders Independently own and manage administrative responsibilities related to partnerships, e.g. ensuring delivery of assets to or from partners, resolving internal issues implementing partnerships, managing of invoices sent or received, contract administration etc. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not have direct reports but may mentor less experienced associates in the role.
