Your day at NTT DATA As a Senior Security Technology Sales Specialist at NTT DATA, you will be an expert in security solutions, working directly with clients and internal teams to identify new business opportunities and deliver tailored solutions. Your day will involve engaging with clients to understand their unique needs, presenting value propositions and cost structures, and driving the sales process to achieve your security budget targets. As a Sales Specialist, you are also responsible for generating your own pipeline and opportunities within your assigned client base. You'll play a vital role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, conducting workshops, and delivering impactful presentations. Your expertise in security technology will enable you to support the closure of sales, address conceptual challenges, and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our product and service offerings. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with client managers, pre-sales architects, and other in-territory counterparts to design the best solutions for our clients. Your strong understanding of the competitive landscape and market strategies will help you penetrate new markets and contribute to the overall growth of our security business. You'll be responsible for creating clear account plans, identifying client risks, and using sales methodologies to drive the sales process. Your ability to adapt quickly to new missions and deadlines, along with your client centric approach to finding the best-fit solutions, will significantly impact achieving our sales goals. To thrive in this role, you need to have: An advanced understanding of security principles, concepts, and technologies, including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and best practices in securing DATA and IT infrastructure. An excellent understanding of the technical concepts of security solutions and the ability to provide technical consultation to customers. Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales and fi nancial goals. Strong client relationship skills up to the C-level, with the ability to deliver engaging sales presentations. The ability to maintain up-to-date, accurate sales forecasts and close plans. Profi ciency in team-selling approaches and collaboration with internal teams. Knowledge of competitors and the ability to apply successful sales strategies. Flexibility to adapt swiftly to new missions, urgent deadlines, and changing client needs. A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or sales fi eld is preferred. Industry/Vendor sales certifi cations required.
