Requirements

  • A head of advising on corporate finance - that meet the minimum requirements of at least 8 years direct experience in corporate finance and passed the relevant modules of the SC licensing exams (Module 12 and 19) or currently a CMSRL holder in advising on corporate finance regulated activity.

Additional Information

Position Description The Head of Corporate Finance and Capital Markets is responsible for preparing materials for origination efforts as well as executing live transactions. These transactions would include deals in the ECM or M&A space such as IPOs, private placements, rights issues, private capital fundraising, take-privates, etc. Key activities include presenting findings of research and analysis, due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, assisting with administrative duties (e.g. roadshows, printing reports etc.), as well as preparing documentation relating to various internal and external processes Key Areas of Responsibilities Comprise 50% Malaysia Investment Banking coverage and 50% ECM / M&A. Malaysian Investment Banking coverage role based in Kuala Lumpur for primarily Malaysian and Southeast Asia transactions, reporting to Head of IB. ECM role for Southeast Asia transactions reporting to ECM Director. Maintain credentials and databases. Support the senior bankers and broader team as required. Train and mentor analysts and interns.
