Scope of Position The Supply Chain Planner - Data Center Programs is responsible for end-to-end material planning and procurement execution in support of Data Center products and projects. This role ensures alignment between demand, supply, and supplier commitments by managing purchase orders, monitoring material availability, and supporting daily supply chain operations. The Planner owns relationships with a defined group of suppliers-including Data Center-specific vendors representing approximately $50M in spend-ensuring supply continuity and on-time delivery performance to meet business commitments. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Plan and execute material requirements for assigned Data Center products and suppliers. Convert demand signals and supply plans into purchase orders. Manage order placement, rescheduling, and cancellations as needed. Track open orders and ensure timely delivery of materials. Manage day-to-day communication with Data-Center-specific suppliers Support procurement activities across a supplier base representing approximately $50M in spend. Monitor supplier lead times, order confirmations, and delivery performance. Follow up on late or at-risk orders and drive resolution with suppliers. Escalate supply concerns when needed. Monitor inventory levels and support alignment with planning parameters such as safety stock or reorder points. Help maintain appropriate balance between service levels and inventory investment. Identify potential shortages or excess inventory and take corrective actions. Support the weekly S&OE process by providing updates on material availability and supply risks. Maintain accurate data related to open orders, past due items, and projected shortages. Partner with the Supply Chain & Execution Manager to ensure alignment between plans and execution. Work with Sourcing on supplier-related topics such as capacity or lead time changes. Coordinate with Logistics to support shipment timing and priority decisions. Partner with Manufacturing and Planning teams to align supply with production needs. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field. APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP) preferred. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, S&OE, Materials Management. Knowledge of S&OE process, demand planning, supply and inventory planning , new products introduction, and resource allocation. Knowledge of Demand and Supply processes, MRP and DRP logic. Experience working with MRP / ERP systems (SAP preferred). Strong analytical skills: data gathering and storytelling, KPI management and RCA. Strong interpersonal skills: facilitate discussions, present to leadership, communicate with clarity. Ideal candidate is results focused, able to set priorities. Proven track record in execution-heavy, fast-paced environments. Working Conditions While performing the job duties, you will be working in an office environment. You will be required to work in the office at the North Andover location three days per week (Monday - Wednesday) and can work remotely two days per week (Thursday and Friday). Physical Requirements : Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to: Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods. Ability to physically move around the office and shop floor.
