Production Planner

Responsibilities

• Production Planning
• o Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, demand forecasts, and inventory levels.
• o Coordinate with production teams to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and adherence to production timelines.
• o Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address capacity constraints or operational issues.
• Inventory Management
• o Monitor and maintain optimal warehouse inventory levels for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
• o Coordinate with R&D to ensure timely replenishment of materials required for production.
• Warehouse Operations Oversight
• o Oversee warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• o Monitor stock movements between warehouse and production areas.
• Process Improvement
• o Identify opportunities to improve production planning accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Qualifications & Requirements
• Diploma in Supply Chain/ Logistics/Materials Management or equivalent
• At least 2 years' experience in production planning/ scheduling using Production Scheduling Software
• Candidate must be able to understand Production Speed.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills to generate reports.
• Meticulous and diligent
• Good time management and able to handle stress under tight timeline
• Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate with all levels of stakeholders
• Fast thinking and highly driven to solve problems
