  • Data-Driven Steering: Backend Instrumentation & Optimization
  • Observability: Design and maintain robust logging and event tracking to monitor performance. Identify system bottlenecks and latency issues within the communication delivery.
  • System Performance & Alignment: Partner with Tech leads, Support and Data team as well as with other product people in charge of the end-user experiences to translate business KPIs into high-performance backend requirements, ensuring that technical implementations are both scalable and measurable.
  • Logic Experimentation: Architect and execute server-side A/B tests to validate changes in verification workflows

  • Experience: At least 4 years of Product Management or Product Owner experience in a B2C digital environment with a focus on APIs or data-heavy products.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to navigate and lead at the intersection of multiple cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration across the organization.
  • Vision & Strategy: Proven ability to define a clear product path forward and develop a long-term strategy that goes beyond simple maintenance to deliver significant new value.
  • Business Acumen: A strong focus on the business impact of products, with the ability to balance technical requirements with broader commercial goals and KPIs.
  • Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of API design, Webhooks, and Kafka . You should be comfortable discussing technical constraints with engineers.
  • Legacy Management: Experience or a strong interest in managing technical migrations and modernizing backend infrastructure.
  • Methodology: Proficient in Agile/Scrum and capable of maintaining a clean, prioritized backlog.

Confirmed Backend Product Manager - Sport & Health customer data Mission The CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) team is seeking a dedicated Product Manager to lead the Sport and health customer data ecosystem . This role is at the heart of Decathlon's strategy to transition from a pure retailer to a partner in our customers' sporting lives. Your Role: As the Product Manager, you will own an innovative " API-as-a-Product " that acts as the centralized Customer Data Platform for sport and health at Decathlon. As the Product Manager, you will drive the strategy and execution of a robust data engine designed to power personalization and intelligence across all Decathlon channels. Your product will serve critical internal stakeholders such as: front-end apps as Coach, Outdoor, Kiprun pacer, and connected product hubs the omnichannel targeting & personalization engine. The end-of-life legacy solution is used by almost 10 different solutions, 7M of users who registered 20M of new sport activities. You should lead its modernization and migration to a scalable structure. Your first priorities will be: To run the current solution improving performance and providing minor enhancements To drive the study and architectural discovery of the future platform solution.
