Job Title: Liverpool City Council - Safeguarding Service - Social Worker Location: Liverpool Pay Rate: £40 Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a Safeguarding service based in Liverpool Council. What will your responsibilities be? Protecting Individuals from Harm : Ensure that vulnerable individuals, including adults and children, are protected from harm, abuse, and neglect. Recognising Signs of Abuse : Identify signs and symptoms of various types of abuse, including physical, emotional, sexual, and financial abuse. Conducting Assessments : Complete assessments under the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act, and undertake Section 42 (S42) Safeguarding Enquiries. Collaborating with Other Agencies : Work closely with other organizations and professionals to prevent and stop both the risks and experiences of abuse or neglect. Supporting Clients : Assist individuals and families in meeting some of life's biggest challenges, empowering them to improve their lives. Maintaining Records : Keep accurate and detailed records using both manual and electronic systems. Balancing Safety and Choice : Balance the right to be safe with the right of the individual to make informed choices and to have their wellbeing promoted at all times.
