Responsibilities

- Assisting the Head of EMEA Governance in delivering high-quality and responsive company secretarial services to the business and wider stakeholders.

- Supervising and developing more junior team members.
- Global Subsidiary Governance
- Oversight of the Group structure and secretariat data base (GEMS);
- Overseeing statutory compliance for the portfolio of EMEA companies, both in the UK and internationally, including liaising with overseas colleagues and professional advisers.
- Working with colleagues in the Americas and APAC to support Group requests, including arranging for approval and execution of corporate documentation.

- Demonstrable company secretarial experience.
- Fully CGI qualified (i.e. CG (Affiliated) / Grad CG / ACG). 5+ year post qualification
- Knowledge of the legal, regulatory and corporate governance framework applying to UK regulated companies is preferable.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong minute-writing skills with the ability to balance technical accuracy and commercial awareness
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload.
- Confidence and a "can-do" approach - someone who is excited about the opportunity to shape their area of responsibility and grow with the Group.
