About the role
We're looking for a hands-on IT Operations Specialist to keep our internal IT running smoothly - from access and accounts to devices, automations, and day-to-day user support. You'll be the go-to person for employees worldwide and a key owner of our internal tooling and processes.
Responsibilities
- Access & identity management
- Administer Okta, Google Workspace, JumpCloud, Atlassian/Jira, Notion and other internal applications.
- Build and maintain automations for routine internal IT processes.
- Design and deliver workflows for other teams and cross-department needs.
- IT on-/off-boarding
- Own the full employee lifecycle: prepare access and equipment for day one, and fully revoke access on departure.
- Manage the equipment lifecycle: ordering, worldwide delivery and return, repairs, and resale, including customs coordination.
- Receive and maintain returned devices.
- Device management (MDM / Apple environment)
- Manage devices via MDM; create and maintain policies, commands, and scripts.
- Maintain the Munki / Managed Software Center (internal Self Service "App Store").
- Diagnose and resolve device and on-device service issues.
- User support & governance
- Provide technical support to office and remote users through the ticketing system.
- Run monthly checks: Shadow IT, installed-application audits, and Munki updates.
- Reconcile access records against actual application access and support manager-led access reviews.
- Document processes and best practices.
- Support basic security tasks: access control and incidents such as phishing.
- Office equipment & vendors
- Set up and maintain office network, printers, video cameras, and monitors.
- Source equipment suppliers, agree terms, and handle configuration requests.
Requirements
- Experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities.
- A proactive, determined, user-oriented attitude.
- Clear communication with non-technical users.
- Experience with Jira or other ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace administration.
- Experience with MDM / device management (Apple environment a plus).
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Zapier) and identity platforms (Okta, JumpCloud).
