Responsibilities

  • Directs monthly bank reconciliations to ensure timeliness, compliance, and accuracy.
  • Directs monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure timeliness, compliance, and accuracy.

  • Assists the Director with creating or enhancing internal controls.
  • Ensures internal controls are in place, adhered to, and monitored through monthly testing procedures.
  • Coordinates due diligence requests and random testing activities for internal and external audits.
  • Responsible for the hiring, onboarding and training of all departmental new hires .
  • Responsible for the training of Hotel Directors of Finance on all responsibilities related to FSC Accounting Services .
  • Maintains and updates training documentation as needed .
  • Responsible for team member engagement and creating a positive work environment .
  • Reports performance statistics and workflow metrics to executive management.
  • Identifies opportunities and recommendations for improvement; Implements action plans .
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs .
  • Required to attend all training sessions and meetings .
  • Assists the Director in being accountable for labor and operating expense spend of the department in accordance with budgetary guidelines .
  • Develops the leadership team in alignment with Loews Hotels standar
