About the role

We are seeking a highly capable Procurement and Contract Management Professional to join our Defence practice in Canberra.   • Capability Building: Act as a true partner to the Department of Defence, actively transferring knowledge to build sustainable internal commercial capabilities.

  • About You
  • To be successful in this role, you are a dynamic high-performing commercial professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is motivated to make a difference. Alongside:
  • Security Clearance: A current and active AGSVA Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) clearance (this is a mandatory minimum requirement).
  • Sector Experience: Extensive, proven experience in procurement, commercial management, and contract administration within the Australian Defence industry with a strong understanding of Commonwealth procurement processes and contracting frameworks.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated, hands-on experience operating within ERP environments.
  • Public Purpose Alignment: A strong, demonstrated commitment to public interest outcomes, with a focus on ethical, transparent, and accountability-driven advisory.
  • Other Skills: Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Experience mentoring others and managing competing priorities.
  • Desirable Qualifications
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • Defence or public sector experience essential.
  • NV1 or higher clearance mandatory.
  • Proficient in ERP.
