System Administrator

Requirements

• Experience with Azure / Azure AD (Entra ID)
• Familiarity with security tools (Defender, Splunk, Qualys, etc.)
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Exposure to IT governance, compliance, or security best practices
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, VMware)

Additional Information

Administer and support Windows Server environments (2016-2022) Manage Active Directory , Group Policy, user accounts, and access controls Monitor system performance, availability, and security; proactively resolve issues Support Microsoft 365 / Exchange administration Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance Troubleshoot network and system issues (DNS, DHCP, VPN, connectivity) Support virtualization environments (VMware and/or Hyper-V) Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and incident records Collaborate with IT, Security, and Business teams to support operational needs Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning Provide Tier 2/3 support and escalate issues as needed Maintenance Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary. Manage existing and/or deploy new instances of Jirra, Git, LDAP, Jenkins, VMWare environments. Required Qualifications 4-5 years of experience in a System Administrator or similar role Strong experience with Windows Server , Active Directory , and Microsoft 365 Hands-on experience with VMware or other virtualization platforms Solid understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting tools Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
