Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design of dry utility networks, including LV/MV power distribution, street lighting, and telecom systems.
  • Apply design and technical knowledge to contribute to high-quality outputs within project timelines
  • Perform work following agreed-upon budget and schedule guidelines, under supervision.
  • Collect and analyze information from specific discipline and interdisciplinary project BIM models as needed.
  • Utilize computer software to solve fundamental engineering problems efficiently.
  • Coordinate with Engineers from other disciplines to ensure continuity of the design process.
  • Participate in design progress and coordination meetings to contribute insights and updates. Verify and ensure the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams, ensuring accuracy to design instructions.
  • Actively seek information and opportunities to contribute, develop efficiencies, and solve problems effectively.
  • Contributes by solving problems and applying experience or theoretical knowledge to atypical assignments.
  • Participates in the utilities digital working group and implementation of digital tools within the design process.
  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University
  • Any software experience including MS Office package, AutoCAD, GIS, or any relevant computer programming would be beneficial.
  • Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.2 and above.
  • If you hold a Master's Degree, it should have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelor's Degree to ensure continuous education and meet program requirements.
  • Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional-level roles instead.
  • Recruitment Timeline:

  • Mobilization & visa processing: August - September
  • Start Date: August - October
  • Program Orientation: October 2026 (This includes an induction and meet-and-greet for the entire graduate cohort from all our offices in the ME)

Graduates are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within the field they are joining at Graduate entry level.
