Assistant Hourly Trainer Opr PR06, Sanitation 3rd Shift - Hope, Arkansas

Responsibilities

• Train team members on sanitation procedures, equipment operation, and safety standards
• Demonstrate proper cleaning methods and safe use of industrial sanitation equipment
• Reinforce compliance with Tyson policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Observe performance and provide coaching, feedback, and hands-on support
• Identify training gaps and partner with leadership to improve processes
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience in sanitation, manufacturing, or food production
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of sanitation procedures and workplace safety
• Previous experience in a trainer, team lead, or leadership role
• Preferably has e xperience in training, mentoring, or onboarding employees
• Knowledge of USDA, FDA, or food safety regulations
• Bilingual skills (as needed)
• Experience working with sanitation chemicals and industrial cleaning equipment
• A team player who leads by example
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Passion for training, coaching, and helping others succeed
• Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

• Food production/manufacturing setting
• Routine physical activity including standing, walking, and lifting
• Exposure to cleaning agents, equipment, and wet environments
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Other Hiring Criteria:
• Accepting Rehires: Yes
• 3 x Rule: If you have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times you are ineligible for rehire.
• Rehire waiting period: 6 months or 180 days.
• Must have at least 3 months work experience in the past 12 months.
• Compensation: $18.75/hr + $2.00/hr shift premium
• Hours: 3rd Shift
