Job Details: Job Description: Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) team supports the factory with automated delivery and storage of lots across the factory. We are looking for a highly driven, passionate, and disciplined individual to join our team as an AMHS Equipment Technician (AET). In this position, you will provide first-line support to Intel Foundry Automation- AMHS service as part of a 24x7 support team. In AMHS, we support the factory 24 x 7 on Compressed Workweek (CWW) shift with an engineering team working 8 x 5. As an AMHS Equipment Technician, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Monitoring the AMHS in a dynamic environment to detect and respond to system issues. - Providing timely response to equipment issues, logging system problems and errors in designated databases. - Electrical or Mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in nonfunctioning electromechanical equipment used. - Responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of all AMHS equipment and sub-assemblies including performing setup, calibration, etc. - Responding to escalations and problems via Mfg Service Desk, Equipment Engineering or other stake holders. - Ensuring AMHS systems have minimal impact to manufacturing WIP movement. - Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. - Provide project support for installation/modification projects as needed. - Collaborate and escalate problems to AMHS hardware engineers or other related product owners. - Executing and role modeling work ethics and results aligned to Intel Safety and Quality Culture. - Occasionally support staffing needs across shifts, as needed. - May take on role of the buddy, trainer, and/or certifier and owns updating training manuals. - Seek, achieve, and maintain proficiency as L3 and advanced equipment certification milestones through established training processes for 24x7 support. - Assignments are semi routine in nature, work performed within generally defined parameters, some degree of judgment required in resolving non-standard problems, normally receives general instructions on most work.
