  • Knowledge of quality improvement and service delivery projects (desirable)

Job Title: Locum Speech and Language Therapist - Acute Inpatient Services Banding: Band 7 Location: John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford Start Date: ASAP Rate: To be confirmed Duration: Ongoing (initial 3-month contract with extension potential) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join the acute inpatient team at John Radcliffe Hospital. This is a locum opportunity ideal for a therapist with advanced clinical competencies and leadership experience, looking to contribute to a dynamic and multidisciplinary hospital setting. You will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of acutely unwell patients across general medicine wards, including elderly care, cardiac, respiratory, trauma, and emergency medicine. The caseload also includes one cardiothoracic critical care unit, with flexibility to support other inpatient areas such as Acute Neurosciences, Critical Care, and Acute Stroke as needed.
