What will you do: Define and own QA strategy, test plan and quality processes for the platform Analyze product requirements, develop and maintain tests including reusable test scripts Validate end-to-end data flows: ingestion → transformation → aggregation → reporting Test Databricks pipelines, jobs and data transformations Design and maintain automated tests (API / data / pipeline-level) Refactor or rebuild existing Java+Cucumber framework (or propose alternative) Perform infrastructure-level validation (networking, environment setup, pipeline orchestration) Collaborate with: Data Engineers DevOps Business stakeholders Establish and promote QA best practices in the team Coordinate testing across teams and vendors where required What we´re looking for: QA experience, ideally in data platforms / data engineering environments Strong understanding of data pipeline testing Solid SQL skills Experience testing: Data transformations Backend / integrations Experience with API testing (REST) Experience with test automation frameworks (Java) Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.) Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail (data validation mindset) Ability to work independently and own QA direction in the team Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
