About the role
TeleMed2U is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Gastroenterology to provide virtual patient care. Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual evaluations and follow-up visits for adult patients with gastro conditions such as but not limited to:

- Functional GI disorders
- Inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis) - stable follow‑up
- Collaborate closely with collaborating gastroenterologists and other members of the care team to ensure continuity of care and appropriate treatment planning.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies as clinically appropriate.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Provide patient education and counseling on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain compliance with all telehealth regulations, licensure requirements, and practice standards.
Requirements
- CA Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years of Gastroenterology experience in outpatient or telehealth settings.
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
- Comfortable practicing autonomously in a remote care environment.
- Reliable internet connection and familiarity with telemedicine technology.
