Energy-Focused Solutions: Existing and new applications across the energy value chain, including Oil & Gas and renewable segments. 3M India is driving growth in advanced materials through focused specification efforts, strong engagement with key accounts, deeper channel presence, and development of new applications across the customer ecosystem. This role involves building new businesses, generating demand, delivering on sales commitments, working closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring strong execution including collections and customer support.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end sales and drive new business development, from demand generation to order fulfillment, to meet revenue targets.
- Build and grow key accounts by understanding customer priorities and leading technical and commercial discussions.
- Drive product specifications with end customers, OEMs, EPCs, and Tier suppliers across the value chain.
- Work with PSUs and government institutions to support tenders, approvals, and specification inclusion.
- Manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce (SFDC), including account planning, opportunity tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Build and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline through consistent customer engagement.
- Define and execute account plans aligned with business and portfolio priorities.
- Understand customer requirements in oil & gas and work with Application Engineering and R&D teams to deliver solutions.
- Communicate the value proposition of advanced materials and sand control solutions effectively.
- Manage the full sales cycle including technical discussions, solution positioning, and closures.
- Support 3M and customers during technical evaluations and application discussions with engineering teams for existing and new products and successful spec in

- Capture market insights, customer challenges, and technology need to support strategy and product development.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good analytical and problem-solving ability.

- Experience working with government or semi-government organizations and tender-based business.
- Exposure to emerging areas such as CCUS, hydrogen ecosystem, and geothermal applications is an advantage.
Requirements
- BE in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering; MBA (Sales / Business Development) preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, with base location in Western India and must have flexibility to relocate as required.
