We are currently seeking an accomplished Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team, while supporting our multiple software products and brands across the organization, such as Debt Solutions, CoStar Suites, LoopNet , Apartments.com , Homes.com , and Ten-X . This position is located in Irvine, CA and has the work schedule of 4 days onsite and 1 day work from home. What qualities are we looking for? Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited, in-person, not for profit university or college
- A track record of commitment to prior employers
- 5+ years' experience with managing heavy web traffic sites using mass scale architecture with a developer focus
- Solid sizing and estimation techniques for small to medium size tasks and projects
- Infrastructure as code using Cloudformation, Terraform or similar platforms
- Heavy experience using AWS or Azure or Google cloud
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes environments and supporting tooling
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and practical application as it applies to improving workflows, observability and team efficiency
- Heavy scripting support with PowerShell or Bash
- Conceptual understanding of SQL and No SQL databases, with the ability to evaluate and select appropriate solutions based on performance, cost and technical fit.
- Experience with configuring Content Delivery Networks (CDN) for performance caching and global traffic management.
- Familiarity with infrastructure foundation components of large networks in AWS and on-prem (e.g., systems & network administration, DNS, hypervisors, containers, databases, multi-datacenters).
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools in areas of APM, system vitals, synthetics and RUM.
- Programming languages / some developer background with either Java, C#, Python, NodeJS
- Server-less architecture methodologies
- Familiarity with PCI compliance and remediation
- Mobile application support (iOS, Android)
- Experience in REST API or Microservices development
- Agile methodologies and working on short sprint cycles
