JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Department of Radiology at Penn State's College of Medicine is seeking applicants for a part-time Statistician. Job duties include: Conduct behavioral and neurocognitive assessments in research participants Assist with MRI and fMRI data acquisition, including protocol execution and quality control Perform preprocessing and analysis of neuroimaging data using tools such as SPM and related image-processing platforms Support data organization, statistical analysis, and interpretation for research studies Assist Principal Investigator(s) in data preparation, manuscript writing, and publication efforts Maintain accurate research records and documentation Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies: BS or MSC Background in neuroscience, Statistics, psychology, or related field Experience with neuroimaging (MRI/fMRI) and data analysis pipelines Familiarity with statistical analysis and programming in MATLAB, R, or Python Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Schedule: 20 hours per week This position is "in-person"
