TS FS Mechanic

About the role

Job Summary To provide hands-on technical assistance in the repair and maintenance of various equipment in the workshop or at the customer sites. Main tasks and responsibilities Overhaul and repair of Various type of Turbine, gear boxes, pumps, compressors, and associated other equipment such auxiliary Installs rotating equipment including those requiring non-standard installation procedures. Make necessary alignment/adjustment to ensure correct operation. Removes & dismantles equipment with maintenance problems; cleans & lubricate; repairs/replace faulty components; reassembles units and checks for efficient operation. Performs preventive & breakdown maintenance jobs. Uses a variety of testing equipment to diagnose trouble in proper sequence. Also, uses tools such as hydraulic press, pullers, electric drills, grinders, heating torch as well as precision tools such as micrometer, caliper gauges & dial gauges for test-checking or repair work. Performs/ensures maintenance work in accordance with instructions, drawings and codes of practice. Competencies and behaviour required (What strengths needed? Requirement: minimum vocational high background: Automotive and Machining. Possess General Knowledge of mechanical and overall maintenance. Familiar with measuring tools, and general tools. Familiar with Assembly drawing, symbols and legend. Familiar with relevant standard such as API, NEMA, codes, and rules of thumbs Behaviour requirement: Achievement Orientation, communication for result, teamwork, active learning, business awareness, problem solving and analytical thinking Qualifications/Experience and Knowledge Required Fresh Graduate are welcome., 1-2-year experience in machinist role or automotive mechanic is preferred Production Knowledge: Precision Measuring tools/instrument such as Dial Gage, OD micrometres, ID micrometre, Callipers etc and math calculation. Familiar with Computer. Familiar with Drawing Software is a Plus. Hand Sketches is preferable. Proficient in English Language verbal and in written-Having certificate in English communication such as TOEIC is a plus.
