The WW Apple Retail Engagement, Marketing & Merchandising (REMM) team defines, makes and delivers programs, campaigns, initiatives and experiences that help Apple Retail's customers and teams discover, be inspired by, learn about and go further with Apple's products and services, and does so in a manner that is true to our values. We're hiring an Internal Engagement Lead for Apple Retail, managing a team of regional internal engagement program managers. The ideal candidate will guide and develop the team to drive excellence in performance while spearheading solution-based content strategy, has a passion for building workforce engagement plans, is attuned to content consumption trends and preferences, and believes in impactful storytelling - ultimately driving effective engagement to support customer-facing retail teams for delivering excellent customer experiences. As an Internal Engagement Lead, you will manage a regional team of Internal Engagement Program Managers, coordinating the activities of the team with responsibility for results. You will be responsible for the mapping, briefing and strategic application of retail engagement content, in order to inform, teach, involve and inspire Apple's Retail teams. We're looking for a team lead who is internal engagement-savvy and an omni-channel content expert - one who anchors business strategies to the needs of the workforce and the internal culture in which we operate, as well as defines and threads content needs together across platforms and touchpoints specific to retail teams' day-to-day. You will lead your team in developing and delivering engagement plans that support Retail programs, projects, and campaigns as well as address business needs. With clear and discerning pulse on emerging engagement and learning trends, you will own the identification and creation of essential, relevant and new engagement content in the right format, executed adroitly for retail teams, to help shape meaningful customer interactions. Demonstrating a strong strategic mindset, business acumen, excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, clear project management capabilities, and thoughtful managerial abilities are key attributes for this role.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Internal Engagement Program Managers, driving individual and team performance, ensuring accountability, and embracing continuous improvement while fostering a culture of excellence through performance reviews and identifying growth opportunities for development.

  • Functional Expertise
  • Assess multiple engagement briefs and develop content plans that support retail teams' proficiencies and learning, maintaining coherence across all platforms and outputs aligned with business priorities, engagement goals, and editorial clarity for multi-format publishing.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, distilling complex ideas into simple and compelling narratives to engage and influence stakeholders, while cultivating and maintaining strong content partner relationships with key developers and stakeholders.
  • Act with integrity as a trusted role model and advocate for Apple values, comfortable navigating tough situations and driving impact through principled leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience, with a demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing environment through strong inclusive leadership that creates a respectful, equitable, and safe space where all voices are valued.
  • 10+ years developing and presenting communication and learning plans, with experience in marketing, product launches, and employee program strategies within an advertising, marketing, or PR environment.
